Hunting holiday in Saalbach Hinterglemm

According to the applicable laws for hunting in Salzburg, anyone who wants to go hunting in Salzburg must carry a valid and personalized hunting permit (annual hunting permit, guest hunting permit) issued by the authorized hunting agency in their name.

THE HIGH MOUNTAIN REGIONS REQUIRE GOOD PHYSICAL CONDITION. EACH HUNTING GUEST IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY AND HEALTH.

If you do not have a Salzburg annual hunting permit, the hunting management will issue a 14-day guest hunting permit for €35 upon presentation of a valid hunting permit or license from another country. Bringing your own dogs on the hunting trips is not permitted. In addition to their hunting license, EU hunters must present a European Firearms Pass to enter the country.

A VALID HUNTING PERMIT/LICENSE IS ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED AND MUST BE CARRIED BY EVERY HUNTER!!!

After booking your hunting trip at the front desk and scheduling an appointment with the hunt management, you will meet one of our professional hunters at the hunting lodge located in the valley of Kaprun. After completing the formalities (hunting documents, hunting reverse, etc.) and a test shot, you will begin the approximately 2-3 hour ascent to the hunting hut.
